This page explains what information Sport Link collects from teams and fans, how we use it, and how to ask us to remove it.
This page is maintained by Sport Link to explain how we work with teams in plain language. It is written for clarity, not as legal advice.
1. What we collect
At signup: the team name, sport, league, city, region, country, and the owner's first name, last name, and email address.
From your dashboard: the content your team enters, including partner and sponsor entries, promotions, events, roster names, images, and section settings.
From support: the messages you send us by email or in the dashboard support thread.
From fans, only when your team turns on a section that collects them: submissions such as a name or nickname, an optional email or contact detail your team asks for, photos, picks, and bingo proof.
Basic technical records such as sign-in activity and error logs that help us keep the platform working.
2. How we use it
To run and publish your team page, to activate and maintain your subscription, to answer support requests, and to send account and support email.
We do not use fan submissions for advertising.
3. Advertisers and data brokers
We do not provide personal information to advertisers or data brokers for payment.
4. Service providers we rely on
We use a payment processor to handle checkout and subscriptions, a hosting and database provider to run the platform and store team content, and an email provider to send account and support messages.
These providers only receive what they need to do their part. Describing them here is not a claim about any certification or audit.
5. Fan-submitted content
Your team decides which sections collect fan submissions, what they ask for, and what gets published on your page.
Because your team controls that, your team is responsible for what it publishes and for removing anything it should not display.
6. Keeping and removing information
We keep team and account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing and support records.
We remove team data on request within a reasonable period. Submit the request through the Contact page.
7. Your requests
Use the Contact page to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to have it removed. We may need to confirm you own the team account before acting on the request.
8. Minors and permissions
Rosters and fan content can include young athletes. Teams are responsible for having the permissions they need before publishing names, photos, or contact details, and for keeping sensitive details off a public page.
9. Cookies and browser storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to keep the dashboard working. We do not run advertising trackers on team pages.
10. Changes and contact
If we make a meaningful change to this page we will update it and the date at the top. Questions go through the Contact page.
